Rita's Ice
Scope of Work
Rita's brought us in to get their Acworth storefront built out and ready for the public, and our crew was on site from late March through final inspection in May. We framed the countertop support walls and wrapped them in FRP, installed the cabinets, toe kicks, and cove base, tiled the counter wall, and plumbed the service-area sinks. We also mounted the menu TVs, hung chair rail throughout the dining room, and assembled and hung the storefront sign.
We coordinated every trade on this job. The electrician worked through the service panel, the HVAC units got connected, and we installed bathroom exhaust fans and changing stations and ran power to the walk-up window. Then came the details: caulking every window frame and door jamb, closing a flooring gap by the glass, adjusting the entry door closer, and going back for paint touchups until the walls were perfect. We set the fire extinguishers and exit signage, met the fire inspector on site, and installed the suite numbers on both entrance doors the same day. By the time we handed it over, the store was ready to start serving.
