For Kevin Nguyen, building things isn't just a business. It’s a way of life. Kevin was out on job sites before he even had his driver's license, learning the ropes and falling in love with the way a pile of lumber can turn into a home.
What started as a hustle to get through college turned into something much bigger. Through the grit and long hours of starting his own company, Kevin found his stride and discovered exactly who he was meant to be in this world.
As the youngest member of CBUSA in 2026, Kevin brings a fresh perspective to the Atlanta construction scene. He leads one of the city's fastest-growing independent firms by combining new ideas with the kind of hands-on experience you can only get from years of being in the dirt.
Building More Than Just Four Walls.
At Capital Development, we know that our work has an impact far beyond a blueprint or a finished floor plan. We believe everyone deserves a solid place to call home, but we also know that many kids don't get that head start.
A huge part of our mission is supporting kids in the foster care system.
We are all-in when it comes to helping foster youth navigate the tough times. We provide resources and support to help make their futures a little brighter. When you choose to build with us, you’re helping us give back to the kids in our community who need it most.
How We Got Here
Capital Development didn't start in some fancy office. It started because Kevin Nguyen needed a way to make things happen for himself. Faced with the reality of paying for school and figuring out adulthood, he decided to build his own path. But there was a deeper motivation at play too. Growing up without a father figure, Kevin was on a personal mission to define what it looks like to be a real leader and a man of faith.
For a long time, Kevin felt like he was looking for a place where he belonged. He found that place in Capital Development. This company became the proof of what’s possible when you refuse to give up. It pushed him to his limits and showed him that a challenge is just an opportunity to get creative. We truly believe that with enough drive and solid leadership, nothing is out of reach. This business brought the smile back to Kevin's face, and he wants to share that same feeling with every person we work with.
