Capital Cares | Community Outreach & Giving Back | Capital Development LLC

Build something that lasts.
Leave a real legacy.

At Capital Development LLC, we know that a strong community is about more than just the homes we build. It's about the families who live in them and the neighbors who look out for one another.

Get Involved

Beyond the Blueprints

Capital Cares is our community outreach initiative — a commitment to show up for the kids and families who need it most in the Greater Atlanta area. We believe that if the neighborhood thrives, we all thrive, and our work doesn't stop when the house is finished.

Through volunteer service days, partnerships with local nonprofits, foster family support, and neighborhood beautification projects, we're putting in the work that goes far beyond construction. For us, it's personal — and it always will be.

Many Ways to Give Back

Capital Cares isn't one thing — it's a collection of efforts, all aimed at one goal: making life a little better for the families and communities around us.

🏡

Foster Family Support

We partner with Georgia Kids Belong and other local organizations to serve foster families through home projects, yard work, and direct hands-on assistance — helping create stable, welcoming environments for children who need them most.

🌿

Yard Cleanups & Beautification

Our crew volunteers time and labor for yard cleanups and property beautification for families in need. What looks like landscaping to a stranger is actually a life-changing act of service for the families we're helping.

🤝

Nonprofit Partnerships

We actively seek out and partner with nonprofits doing meaningful work on the ground in Atlanta. By aligning our resources and network with organizations already serving communities, we multiply the impact of every dollar and every hour.

👦

Supporting Foster Youth

Children in the foster care system deserve advocates and support systems. Through our work with Georgia Kids Belong and the Center for Children, we help provide safe, stable environments and tangible support for foster youth across Georgia.

🛠️

Volunteer Service Days

Our team regularly organizes and participates in volunteer service days — rolling up sleeves for everything from community cleanups to home improvement projects for local families who need a hand.

🌍

Community Outreach

From local events to grassroots outreach, we show up for Atlanta in every way we can. Building great homes and building great neighborhoods go hand in hand — and we're committed to both for the long haul.

The Work Behind the Photos

Every picture in our gallery tells a story. Here's a closer look at what Capital Cares actually looks like on the ground.

Foster Family Service

Serving Foster Families Through Action

When we partner with Georgia Kids Belong, it's not just a logo on a page — it means our team shows up in person to serve foster families directly. On this service day, our crew descended on a foster family's home to tackle long-overdue yard work and outdoor cleanup.

For a foster parent already carrying an enormous amount of responsibility, having a team come and take one burden off their plate is more than practical help — it's a message that the community sees them and has their back.

Yard Cleanup

Turning Hard Work Into Dignity

What might look like a simple landscaping job is actually something much more meaningful. When our team arrives for a yard cleanup, we're not just cutting grass — we're restoring a sense of pride and safety to a family's home environment.

Many of the families we serve don't have the time, resources, or physical ability to manage the upkeep on their own. Showing up with tools and a willing team is one of the most direct ways we know how to love our neighbors well.

All Hands on Deck

Capital Cares service days bring the full Capital Development team together around a shared purpose. Everyone from project managers to field crews show up ready to work — because the mission of caring for our community belongs to all of us, not just a department.

These days are also a reminder that the skills we bring to building homes translate directly into service. We know how to work hard, we have the tools, and we know how to coordinate a team — and we put all of that to use for the families and communities we're serving.

Youth & Community

Investing in the Next Generation

Every child deserves a safe home and a community that cares about their future. That's why a significant portion of Capital Cares' work is focused specifically on children — especially those in the foster care system who may not have a consistent support network.

By partnering with organizations like Georgia Kids Belong and the Center for Children, we're helping to fill real gaps in care. Because the houses we build are only as meaningful as the lives being lived inside them.

Better Together

We're proud to partner with organizations already doing the hard work on the ground every day. These partnerships allow us to serve more effectively and reach more families across the Greater Atlanta area.
