Scope of Work

Cozy Cave turned an unfinished lower level into a space the whole family actually wants to be in: a theater room, gym, bedroom, full bathroom, bonus room, and a wet bar. Our crew laid LVP throughout and ran a quality check on it before moving on, installed the drop ceiling, hung and finished drywall, and ran trim and baseboards in every room. We tiled the shower and the wet bar backsplash, assembled and set the bathroom and wet bar cabinets, cut and polished the granite countertops, and plumbed in the faucets, a sink pump for the wet bar, the showerhead, and the glass shower door.

We kept the homeowners in the loop the whole way, including a formal selections presentation so they could see every door handle, granite, and vanity option before it went in. We protected the new floors, kept the site clean, and made a point of checking in with the neighbors each morning before cutting started. Then came the details: covering the exposed pipe in the theater room, tucking away low-voltage wiring, installing water main access and a shut-off under the wet bar, hanging every door handle and cabinet knob, and touching up paint. On close-out day we fixed the entrance lighting, caulked the last gap at the door, and left a gift basket behind. It's a basement that now feels like the best room in the house.
